Jules Garel, Chair
Jules Garel is a lawyer and business consultant. He is Of Counsel at Bailey Cavalieri LLC, a Columbus law firm. In 2001 and 2002, Mr. Garel was a member of the Regional Airport Study Committee that recommended the formation of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority. In 2005 and 2006, Mr. Garel was a member of the Finance Port Authority Study Committee. Mr. Garel was a member of the Board of Trustees of Capital University. He also has served on other community boards and as a director of several private and publicly held businesses. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Columbus Museum of Art. Mr. Garel graduated from Harvard University and Boston University School of Law. |

Richard Barnhart, Vice Chair
Richard Barnhart is Co-Chair of the Corporate Practice Group at Schottenstein, Zox & Dunn and is a member of the firm's Management Committee. He focuses his practice on general business transactions, business acquisitions, banking transactions and international business transactions. He has extensive experience counseling clients on an array of legal, financial and practical issues. Mr. Barnhart serves as a member of corporate advisory boards and regularly provides strategic and business planning advice. Mr. Barnhart graduated from Youngstown State University (B.S.B.A. 1976, cum laude) and received his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University College of Law (1978, with honors). |

Mark Milligan, Secretary/Treasurer
Since 1998, Mark Milligan has provided advisory services to not-for-profit organizations, start-up and early-stage businesses through Passage Management and Passage Capital. Services include strategic planning, compensation structuring, executive searches and marketing/communications. Services to for-profit businesses also include facilitating debt and equity financing. Prior to forming Passage Management and Passage Capital, Milligan concluded a twenty-three year banking career as Executive Vice President of State Savings Bank, then the largest home lender and privately owned bank in Columbus and Phoenix. Mr. Milligan also serves on the Boards of Directors of The Arlington Bank, of which he was an organizer; First Federal Savings; and the Ohio Housing Finance Agency. Mr. Milligan is a graduate of The Ohio State University. |

Michael J. McMennamin, Past Chair
In 2006, Mike McMennamin established Turnstone Consulting, LLC after retiring from a 40-year career in investment and financial management in banking. Turnstone Consulting provides consulting services to financial institutions. Prior to retiring in 2005, Mr. McMennamin was with a number of regional banking companies in the role of Chief Financial Officer, Chief Investment Officer, and/or Chief Executive Officer, including: Huntington Bancshares, Inc., Citizens Financial Group, Banc One, Buckeye Financial Corp., Midwest Savings and National City Corp. Mr. McMennamin has been active in numerous community and civic organizations, including serving as: Chair for two port authority study committees for the City of Columbus and Franklin County; Chairman of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra; Vice Chairman of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority; and Vice Chairman of the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio. Mr. McMennamin received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Ohio University in 1967 and his MBA from Case Western Reserve University in Banking and Finance in 1972. |

Dr. Joseph A. Alutto
As The Ohio State University's Executive Vice President and Provost, Joseph A. Alutto is the university's chief academic officer, providing leadership for the academic and administrative vice presidents, deans and faculty regarding Ohio State's academic priorities. Prior to his appointment as exectuive vice president and provost, he held the John W. Berry Sr. Chair in Business in the Fisher College of Business, where he served as dean for the 16 years. Dr. Alutto earned his bachelor's degree from Manhattan College, a Master's degree from the University of Illinois, and his Ph.D. from Cornell University. He was dean of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Management for 14 years before his arrival at Ohio State in 1991. A leading authority on managerial behavior, Dr. Alutto specializes in corporate performance, leadership, and Sino-U.S. joint venture activity. He is the author of a book and more than 65 articles in these areas. He has been a consultant to banks, manufacturing firms, aerospace companies, health care agencies, and educational institutions. In addition, he is a member of a number of corporate boards and has served in leadership capacities for a wide variety of volunteer organizations. |

Michael Kelley
Michael Kelley is the Business Manager after serving 12 years as the Business Agent for the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union Local 189. He has been with Local 189 since 1979 and has also served as its President and the Health and Welfare Trustee. Mr. Kelley currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Science and Technology Corridor in Columbus and has been involved with the Homeless Family Foundation. |

Ranjan Manoranjan
Ranjan Manoranjan is the Chief Executive Officer of 3SG Corporation and President of QuickAccountant, Inc. both located in Dublin, Ohio and founded in 1999 and 1998 respectively. Mr. Manoranjan currently serves on the Ohio Society of CPAs' Statewide Political Endorsement Committee as well as previously serving on the Executive Board. In addition, he serves as a member of the Board of Governors as well as Treasurer of the World of Children, a non-profit organization whose mission is to honor, illuminate and inspire action on behalf of children. Mr. Manoranjan also currently serves as Vice President of the Asian Indian Alliance of Ohio, a statewide political action committee where he formerly served as the executive director. In May 2005, Mr. Manoranjan was awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor by the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations (NECO). Mr. Manoranjan was founder and principal owner of a Certified Public Accounting Firm from 1982 to 2000. During those years he also served on the State of Ohio Board of Tax Appeals, appointed by Governor George Voinovich, where he served a six year term. |

Ms. Russell is the Controller for The Ohio State University. As Controller, she directs the University’s Accounting, Cost Allocation, Tax, Financial Training and Documentation, Systems Development, Accounts Payable, Asset Management and Equipment Surplus departments, with oversight authority for the payroll. She was the former Comptroller for the Ohio State Treasurer’s Office and was an Assistant Vice President for nine years with Buckeye Federal Savings and Loan. Ms. Russell serves the following organizations: The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute Board, Columbus Community Shelter Board, Transportation Research Center Board, Columbus Medical Association Foundation, YWCA Housing Board and Columbus Public Schools’ Audit and Accountability Committee. In December 2006, the Governor appointed her to the Accountancy Board of Ohio. Ms. Russell is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Government Financial Manager. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Ohio Dominican University in 1976 and received a Masters of Taxation Degree from the Capital University Law Center in 1993. |

Ms. Smith is the Assistant General Counsel for Mettler-Toledo, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio. As counsel, she manages the legal affairs for the North American operations and subsidiaries of Mettler-Toledo including corporate governance, employment, commercial contracts, and litigation. Ms. Smith was also legal counsel with Volkswagen of America, Inc., Clark Hill PLC, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the U.S. District Court of Eastern Michigan for The Honorable Denise Page Hood. Ms. Smith has a B.A. from Michigan State University and her J.D. from the Michigan State University College of Law. Ms. Smith is a board member of the Neighborhood School Development Partnership for the Columbus Public Schools. Ms. Smith is also a member of the Columbus Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. |

Jean Carter Ryan joined the Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority in January of 2007 as its first employee. Prior to joining the Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority, Ms. Ryan served as the Deputy Director of the Economic Development Division within the Ohio Department of Development for over 11 years. As Deputy Director, Ms. Ryan oversaw the Offices of Financial Incentives, Business Development, Tax Incentives, Workforce Development, Loan and Grant Servicing, and Small Business. The Economic Development Division had a budget of $275 million and a loan/bond portfolio of $500 million. Under Ms. Ryan’s leadership, the division’s Ohio Enterprise Bond Fund enhanced its bond rating from A- to AA-. Ms. Ryan had been with the Department since April of 1989. She has a B.A. in American Studies from Smith College, Northampton, MA and a Masters in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University.
