Finance Authority finances Dynalab manufacturing project

A Reynoldsburg manufacturer is bucking the trend of outsourcing to Mexico with a recent contract for work formerly manufactured in Mexico. As a result of that contract, Dynalab, Inc. has invested $3.5 million through the Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority, bringing 73 jobs to Central Ohio.

Dynalab invested in equipment to manufacture electronic circuit boards for electric meters. Dynalab provides engineering and manufacturing support for Fortune 500 and other qualified companies.

“Dynalab is proud to be doing its part to help the United States maintain its world dominance in manufacturing. I commend local government officials for establishing the Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority to assist in these endeavors”, said Gary W. James, Dynalab president.

The Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority, wrapping up its second year of operations, has closed on financings with
seven projects, including three manufacturing companies. In total, the Finance Authority has issued $45 million of debt with
a total company investment of $50 million for seven projects creating 210 jobs.

market, we are open for business”, said Jules Garel, Chair of the Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority.

The Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority has completed its third year of operations and has issued $90.7 million in bond financing closing on 10 projects that will invest more than $146 million and create1,200 jobs in Central Ohio. The
Finance Authority offers creative and alternative financing tools, focusing on job growth, to new and existing companies looking to expand or relocate services to the area. The Finance Authority also provides assistance to community redevelopment projects.
