Finance Authority Joins Developer and Elected Officials for Sawyer Towers Demolition Event

Rose Roman, CFFA Vice President, attended a very emotional event May 21st when she joined project leader Paths Development and City, County, and Community leaders to recognize the removal of the former Sawyer Towers. It marked the beginning of  one of the largest affordable housing projects in Franklin County history.

The upcoming six-building, 380 apartment complex will include shared amenities from playgrounds and computer labs to wrap-around services for tenants.

“It was an honor to attend the ceremony. Remembering the past is key to building the future,” says Roman. “The team at Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority is proud of our participation in moving this project forward.”
