New Talent Joins Finance Authority Board, Staff

Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority continues to add new talent to meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders. Most recently we’ve added two women who bring specialized skills and experiences to our organization. “We’re so pleased Tenesha Hartgrove has joined our board, and we welcome Kaitlyn Geiger to our full-time staff,” says Finance Authority President Patty Huddle. Here’s why we’re excited to have them on the team.

Tenesha Hartgrove
New Board Member

Tenesha M. Hartgrove, CPA, EA, CFP®, PFS is a seasoned financial professional with a wealth of expertise in accounting, taxation, and personal financial planning. She currently serves as Principal at Hilliard-based Ncrease Financial Services, where she has expanded the firm from its origins as a part-time tax preparation business to a thriving accounting enterprise with a diverse clientele spanning various industries.

A Columbus native, Tenesha was drawn to the opportunity to foster economic development in her hometown. “It’s inspiring to drive around the city and see the tangible results of projects this Board has supported,” she says. “Being part of an organization that shapes central Ohio’s future is both exciting and fulfilling.”

Tenesha serves a few important roles on our Board. As Secretary/Treasurer, she holds one of the officer seats on the Board. She also serves as chair of the Board’s Audit Committee. The Audit Committee Chair has oversight of the organization’s annual audit, interacts with the auditors, and oversees other important committee activities such as monitoring our investment policy.

Tenesha holds a Masters in Taxation from Capital University Law School, complementing her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Franklin University. She serves as an adjunct professor at Columbus State, where she gets to share her love of accounting. As the President of the Columbus Chapter of NABA Inc., she has led initiatives aimed at fostering networking opportunities and professional development for accounting professionals while actively promoting accounting career awareness among high school students.

“I’m passionate about supporting business owners,” she says. “My professional experience allows me to understand the unique challenges they face, and I’m excited to bring that perspective to the Board’s work, particularly in working with their Small Business initiatives and fostering economic growth and opportunity.”
