Unveiling new affordable housing in the Columbus market is always cause for celebration. That was the case in early May when Finance Authority Vice President Rose Roman spoke at the ribbon-cutting celebration for Columbus Renaissance Housing, hosted by developer Woda Cooper Companies and co-developer Community Development for All People (CD4AP).
Located at 33 W. Morrill Ave. on the city’s south side, the new three-story, 46-unit community is reserved for renters with household incomes up to 60% of the area median income ($61,980 per year for a family of four). Onsite services to assist new residents will be coordinated by CD4AP. The Finance Authority participated in the project along with the City of Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio Housing Financing Agency (OHFA) and the Affordable Housing Trust for Columbus & Franklin County (AHT).
Roman joined OHFA Executive Director Bill Beagle, CD4AP Executive Director Mike Premo, and other community leaders for the event.
