Going up next to the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging (COAAA), this development provides affordable housing for seniors using Ohio’s new Low-Income Housing Tax Credit.
PROJECT DETAILS
The project will consist of two phases: Phase 1 will include 44 units priced between 30% and 70% of area median income (AMI), and Phase 2 will offer 37 units to those with up to 60% AMI.
Apartments will include age-in-place features and plenty of accessible options for those with mobility challenges or sight and hearing disabilities.
In addition to having bright, open living spaces, amenities will include a fitness center, lounge room, and outdoor spaces with a picnic area and grill.
LOW-INCOME HOUSING TAX CREDIT
The project is the first to use Ohio’s new Low-Income Housing Tax Credit which will help expand access to affordable housing across the state
The tax credit enables developers to close the gap caused by the cost of building materials without having to raise rent prices
