The Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority is pleased to welcome Rose Roman as its new Vice President. She will formally join the organization Monday, December 4.
Prior to her new role, Roman held a variety of commercial banking positions. “Her extensive small business lending experience will have an immediate, positive impact on our organization’s capacity and expertise,” says Finance Authority President Patty Huddle. The VP position works closely with Huddle on management and execution of the Finance Authority’s business development, community relations, and strategic planning efforts. “We’ll work together to structure and execute a variety of public and development financing solutions,” says Huddle.
A graduate of The Ohio State University, Roman worked most recently at The Union Bank Company in Gahanna, where she served as Head of Government Lending. Her accomplishments there included designing and implementing the bank’s SBA Preferred Lending Program and its SBA PPP program, which provided more than 3,000 loans and $182 million of PPP capital.
Roman is an active industry and community volunteer. She serves as Treasurer of the Women’s Small Business Accelerator and as Assistant VP of the Community Capital Development Corporation. She also served as President and other leadership positions over 12 years with Inner City Catholic Parishes.
Join us in welcoming Rose!
